Iowa-Registered 2YO & 3YO Nominations Due

The first nomination payment for Iowa-Registered 2-year-old and 3-year-old horses is due Friday, February 15.

 

There are no changes to 2-year-old and 3-year-old Iowa-Registered nomination payments in 2019. The first $100 payment is due postmarked February 15 and the second $100 payment is due postmarked April 15. Horses not paid in by February 15 may pay a $100 penalty in addition to the February and April payments to make their 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds eligible by April 15.

 

Iowa-Registered horses must have a registration number from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) by May 15 to race in the 2019 season. There are no exceptions. Owners may contact IDALS Horse & Dog department to check registration status at 515-281-4103.

 

All owners as listed per the USTA must be members of the Iowa Harness Horse Association.
