Ivy B Poison, driven by Scott Smith, set the pace in race three. With a last quarter in :30.3, the Sneaky B Skipalong filly took a new lifetime mark with her fifth win.
Colts sired by Millionaire Cam stepped up to win both divisions of 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings. The fastest division went to Slippin The Clutch in race five. The All In Tad colt battled Midwest Ranger (Aaron Mitchell) the entire mile. DP Country Boy made his way to the winner’s circle in race four, trotting to the win in 2:10, last quarter in :32. Trainer Rick Huffman took the lines to drive Scoreoneforme to victory in race six. The 2-year-old son of Man Of Broadway cut the fractions, trotting to the win in 2:08.2 by 22 lengths.

When driver Gary Liles pulled the Yadi-sired filly, she didn’t look back. Battle Queen opened up on the field, winning by more than 30 lengths. With eight wins on the season, this makes her fourth win in a row for owner/trainer/driver Gary Liles.

As the starters left the gate, Sly Rascal (Cory Larson) sprinted to the lead. Ricky Be Sharp (Lorenza Gooch), not satisfied sitting second, took the lead at the quarter. Sitting third, Liles and Depth Charge stalked the leaders and pulled to take the pocket trip. When the trotting colts turned for home, Depth Charge took the rail advantage as Ricky Be Sharp drifted out. Crossing the wire with a half-length lead, the Motorcade gelding gained his first win of the season with a new lifetime mark of 2:05.3, picking up a driving triple for Liles.
