Monday (11/1) at Oak Grove Racing & Gaming, Western Waltz (Kyle Wilfong) drew the six-hole in race four.  With a burst of speed, Western Waltz sprinted to the lead, the quarter in 27.3.  With a 56.3 second quarter, Western Waltz was still up at the half.  Up to challenge, Captain Cook (Devon Tharps) briefly took over but it was a three way battle when Grand Ole Party (Archie Buford) shot from seventh to second as they reached the stretch drive.  Holding on for third, Western Waltz paced his mile in 1:54.4, last quarter in 28.1, beaten out of it all by a third of a length.

 

Frewil Dakota Sven (Cordarius Stewart) and Nat A Cam (Kyle Wilfong) both competed in race six.  Nat A Cam was parked second to the quarter, with Frewil Dakota Sven back in fourth.  Gaining the rail, Nat A Cam briefly held the lead at the half.  With horses up on the outside, Frewil Dakota Sven pulled out, drafting in second, at the three quarters, with Nat A Cam third on the rail.  As finishers crossed the line, Frewil Dakota Sven placed second with Nat A Cam right there for third.  Both paced their miles in 1:55.1, back only a little over one length.

 

In race eight, Starstruck Cowgirl (Tony Succarotte) had the eight-hole.  When the gate folded, she shot out,striving for the lead.  Parked first at the quarter in 27.1, she was still up at the half in 56.3.  Sitting second by a half, as they turned for home, Starstruck Cowgirl hit the board for third, her mile in 1:55.4.

 

Minnie Vinnie looked to compete in race three at Yonkers Raceway.  Getting away seventh from the four-hole, Minnie Vinnie waited until past the half to move.  Parked two-wide at the three-quarters, Minnie Vinnie charged up from sixth to third as the hit the stretch.  Pacing his last quarter in 28 flat, Minnie Vinne was third by a length and a half, his mile in 1:53.0.

 

On Tuesday (11/2), Loussolataire drew the three-hole in the Open III Trot at Oak Grove.  Getting away fifth, Loussolataire (Jordan Patton) followed the field around the track.  As horses trotted for the finish line, Loussolataire hit the board for third, her mile in 1:57.3.

 

Always B Hanny (Shawn T. Gray) kicked off the day at Saratoga Harness in race one.  Leaving from the rail, Always B Hanny got the pocket trip around the track.  Finishing second by a length, Always B Hanny paced her mile in 1:56 flat.

 

Battle Queen (Jim Devaux) also had a pocket trip in race nine.  Sitting second the whole mile, Battle Queen raced for place, trotting her mile in 1:59.4.

 

On to The Meadows, Shirley Skip Shady (Aaron Merriman) competed in race two.  Getting away third from the two-hole, Shirley Skip Shady sat third until the half.  Making her move, parked at the three-quarters, Shirley Skip Shady gained the lead.  It was full steam ahead as she raced for the wire, winning by five lengths, race time in 1:54.3.

 

In race four, Heavy Handed Hanna (Brady Brown) was looking to sit in the pocket for the perfect trip from the three-hole, while Marced In Faith (Dave Palone) got away fifth from post position seven.  Still second as horses passed the half, Heavy Handed Hanna protected her spot on the rail.  Marked In Faith was making up ground on the outside and finally took over the lead at the three-quarter-pole.  Up by a length as they rounded the last turn, Marced In Faith tried to hold off a fast charging Heavy Handed Hanna.  But Heavy Handed Hanna was in command, picking up the win in 1:56.1, Marced In Faith second.  A huge payout for win of $15.80, the Iowa exacta paid $89.40.

 

It’s So Fluffy (Ronnie Wrenn, Jr) had the three-hole in race eleven.  As the gate folded, It’s So Fluffy raced in third until the quarter-pole then made a move to the front.  Leading the trotters around the track, it was all It’s So Fluffy down the stretch, winning in 1:55.4 for owner Dan Roland.

 

In race six at  Harrah’s Philadelphia on Wednesday (11/3), it was the seven-hole for Marced Debutante (David Miller).  With a brush to the front, Marced Debutante quickly took the lead, pacing to the quarter in 27.2.  Racing to the half in 57.3, she led the field to the three-quarters in 1:26.4.  As they eyed the finish line, Marced Debutante finished third, her mile in 1:57 flat.

 

In the Open Trot (race six) at Monticello Raceway, CR Blazin Beauty (Brandon Parker) got away seventh from the five-hole.  Tracking sixth at the half, CR Blazin Beauty was double-parked fourth at the three-quarter pole in her quest for the front.  Up by a head at the top of the stretch, CR Blazin Beauty trotted home in 1:59.0 for the win.

 

Lone Star Tap (Aaron Merriman) competed at The Meadows in race nine.  Trotting up to third, Lone Star Tap waited until after the half to move.  Second by a head on the outside, Lone Star Tap gained the lead as they hit the lane.  It was a tight finish as I Saw You Blink (Jeremy Indof) was flying home. In the photo for win, Lone Star Tap was tapped out of first by a nose, trotting second in 1:57.0.

 

In race twelve, Exhibition Day (Ridge Warren) trotted out second to the quarter.  Third by a length as they reached the stretch, Exhibition Day battled Ripple Of Hope (Brian Zendt) to the wire.  In another photo finish, it was a dead-heat for the win, race time in 1:58.1.

 

Over to race ten at  Yonkers Raceway, Bitty Bitty (Jason Bartlett) drove up for second from post-position five as the gate folded.  Taking the pocket trip, Bitty Bitty sat in the back of Nuttinbutthebest (Matt Kakaley) until the lane.  With a last quarter in 28.4, Bitty Bitty flew across the finish line, picking up the win for Its Only Money Stable, in 1:55.1.

 

At Harrah’s Philadelphia race eleven on Thursday (11/4), Searching For You (George Napolitano Jr) trotted out from the seven-hole to take the lead.  Cutting the fractions in 29.0, 59.2 and 1:29.0, Searching For You was still up as the raced for the wire.  Beaten by a head, Searching For You found second place, his race in 2:00.1.

 

RD Skippy drew the rail in race seven at The Meadows.  With Dave Palone on the bike, RD Skippy settled into fourth at the start.  Still fourth at the half, Palone pulled out to challenge, parked second as they passed the three-quarters.  Still second as they rounded the last turn, RD Skippy charged down the lane in 29.1 for the win, mile in 1:55.2.

 

In race ten, Hide Your Banker (Hunter Myers) got away fifth from the five-hole.  Not wanting to get locked in, Hide Your Banker pulled before the half, working his way up to second at the three-quarter pole.  As the race finished, Hide Your Banker hit the board for third, his mile in 1:59.2.

 

With the five-hole draw, Operation Shipley (Joe Bongiorno) didn’t want to get stuck in traffic as race four commenced at Yonkers Raceway.  Parked second to the quarter, Operation Shipley was in full command as trotters reached the half.  With no looking back, Operation Shipley crossed the finish line victorious, trotting in 1:57.3.

 

Friday at Harrah’s Philadelphia, race three, Freddie Faves (Siman Allard) was parked third from post-position five as he raced to the quarter-pole.  Gaining the inside, Freddie Faves sat second to finish second, race time in 1:55.1, last quarter in 28 flat.

 

Up at Northville Downs, Jumping Jillybean (Jason Merriman) jumped out to the lead in race five.  Letting Emerald Miss (David Lake) take over at the half, Jumping Jillybean sat in her back around the track.  Turning for home, Jumping Jillybean sprinted her last quarter in 29.2, for the win in 1:58.3.

 

In the next race, Bunkerhill Jill (Carl Putnam Jr) drew the four-hole.  Getting the pocket trip, Bunkerhill Jill bunkered down for the stretch drive.  Pacing home in 30.4, Bunkerhill Jill captured the win in 1:59.1.

 

My Money Honey (Brady Brown) had the two-hole in race eleven at The Meadows.  As the gate folded, My Money Honey got away third and stayed in third the entire mile. Racing his last quarter in 28.2, My Money Honey hit the board for show, his race time in 1:53.3.

 

 Cashncam bettors looked to cash a ticket in the opener at Yonkers Raceway.  Fourth at the quarter-pole, Cashncam (Joe Bongiorno) made a move, parked second at the half.  Still parked as they passed the three-quarter-pole, Cashncam put his nose up to take the lead at the top of the lane.  With a last quarter in 29.1, Cashncam finished third, mile in 1:54.3.

 

On Sunday at Oak Grove Racing & Gaming, it was all Western Waltz in race one.  Setting the pace in 28.1, 58.0 and 1:26.2, Western Waltz (Kyle Wilfong) was up by a length as he raced for the line.  Last quarter in 27.4, Wester Waltz cruised to a two-length victory, pacing the mile in 1:54.1.
