In the ninth race at Harrington Raceway on Monday (4/11), Here Comes Teddy (Anthony Morgan) was all business, leaving the gate from the three-hole.  Straight to the top, Here Comes Teddy cut the mile, setting the pace in 28.1, 58.0 and 1:26.4.  Leading the field by a length as he raced toward the lane, Here Comes Teddy fought toward the finish line.  Holding on by a neck, Here Comes Teddy was declared the winner, pacing in 1:54.4.

 

Snobbytown (Chris Page) competed at Miami Valley Raceway on Tuesday (4/12) in the Fillies & Mares Open Handicap, race ten. With the outside draw, seven-hole, Snobbytown pushed the gate out of her way to gain the pocket trip behind Coral Reef Hanover (Brady Galliers).  Snobbytown sat on Galliers’ helmet, still second as they reached the stretch, protecting the rail from the outside challengers.  In a valiant effort, Snobbytown picked up second, pacing her mile in 1:51.2, last quarter in 27.3.

 

At Monticello Raceway, Sneaky Sunrizer (Michael Merton) drew the four-hole in race three.  Cutting the mile in 29.0, 1:00.1 and 1:30.2, Sneaky Sunrizer was up by three lengths as they turned for home.  Unable to hold off a late charge by Perfectly Said (Eric Irving), Sneaky Sunrizer snuck in a second place finish by a head, pacing in 2:01.1.

 

Cyclone Maximus (Jacob Stillwell) competed at Monticello Raceway on Wednesday (4/13) in race five, the North American Amateur Drivers Association.  Away second from the three-hole, Cyclone Maximus, got the perfect trip behind Karets (Christopher Petrelli).  Able to find room down the stretch, Cyclone Maximus maximized his stride to capture first place by a neck, trotting his mile in 2:02.4.

 

On Thursday (4/14) at Plainridge Park, Itsonlymoneyhoney (Shawn T Gray) drew the seven-hole in race seven.  Parked fifth to the quarter, Itsonlymoneyhoney finally found the rail as he raced fourth to the half.  Still fourth at the three-quarter pole, Itsonlymoneyhoney patiently waited, trotting up third as they raced around the last turn.  With a brush down the lane, Itsonlymoneyhoney hit the board for place, his mile in 1:55.2.

 

Bitty Bitty (Jorday Stratton) could see them all, as they left the gate in race six at Yonkers Raceway.  Eighth from the eight-hole, Bitty Bitty was still eighth as they passed the three-qarters.  Looking for horses to clear out of her way, Bitty Bitty paced home in a quick 27.1 to cross the line for third, her mile in 1:54 flat.

 

Alan and Cheryl Sandbulte’s fillies, Anotherblazinwoman (Luke Plano) and Give Me This Dance (Nick Roland) hooked up on Friday (4/15) in race two, featuring the California Sire Stakes Three-Year-Fillies at Cal Expo.  Drawing the three and four holes respectively, both fillies found themselves parked at the quarter, Anotherblazinwoman first and Give Me This Dance behind her in third.  Gaining the rail, Anotherblazinwoman, took the fillies to the three-quarter pole as Give Me This Dance took over at the top of the stretch.  Heads apart as they raced for the wire, Give Me This Dance took the win, in 1:57 flat as Anotherblazinwoman finished second, her mile in 1:57.1.

 

Frisky Pedro (Luke Plano) took to the track in the next race, drawing the rail.  As the starting car pulled away, Frisky Pedro managed to keep Marced Magic (Lemoyne Svendson) parked to the quarter-pole.  Settling into third, Frisky Pedro managed to find himself sixth at the three-quarters as horses were lined up on the outside.  Able to find some room, Frisky Pedro opened up, pacing his last quarter in 27.4, beaten out of first by a head, his mile in 1:54.4.

 

In race six, Frewil Dakota Sven (Luke Plano) had post-position two.  Third at the quarter-pole, Frewil Dakota Sven was parked in third as they passed the half.  With eyes on the lead, Frewil Dakota Sven pulled up to race in tandem down the lane.  Less than a length apart, Frewil Dakota Sven paced to second place, his mile in 1:54.1.

 

In race seven, the California Sire Stakes Championship Four-Year-Old Fillies, May Day Maggie (Nick Roland) had the five-hole.  Second at the quarter, and second at the half, May Day Maggie found herself on the rail in third as she passed the three-quarters.  With the wire closing, May Day Maggie was not going to surrender, but fought hard, racing to second in 1:55.4.

 

Over to Yonkers Raceway, DP Rocket (Matt Kakaley) had the three-hole in race six.  Sitting third until the half, DP Rocket made a move to the outside, parked second at the three-quarter pole.  Second by a nose as they turned for home, it was all DP Rocket at the finish line, winning in 1:55.4, last quarter in 28.2.

 

Saturday (4/16) at Buffalo Raceway, CR Blazin Beauty (Kyle Cummings) drew the four-hole in race eleven, the Open II-III Handicap.  Getting away fifth, CR Blazin Beauty was not happy on the rail.  Pulling to the outside, CR Blazin Beauty made up ground the hard way, finally reaching the top as they passed the three-quarter-pole.  Up by two as they turned for home, CR Blazin Beauty was in full command, trotting to victory in 1:59.2.

 

In the opener on Sunday (4/17) at Cal Expo, Brooklyn Wind Up (Nick Roland) found herself fourth at the quarter-pole as she left from post-position five.  Looking to make a move early, Brooklyn Wind Up was parked fourth at the half and parked second at the three-quarters.  Gaining the lead at the top of the stretch, there was no catching Brooklyn Wind Up as she crossed the line for the win in 1:54.3 for owners Brady Jenson and Christopher Manatt.

 

Jennie Ann (James Kennedy) also had the five-hole as she competed in race eleven.  Parked fourth to the quarter, Jennie Ann charged on to take control as they reached the half.  Leading the field to the top of the lane, it was a three horse photo as they crossed the finish line.  Jennie Ann found herself hitting the board for show, her mile in 1:56 flat.
