At The Meadows on Thursday (5/12), Shining Jewels (Aaron Johnston) had the eight-hole in race four.  Getting away eight, Shining Jewels could see the whole field as they raced to the half-way mark.  Pulling behind cover, Shining Jewels made her way up to fifth as they turned for home.  Pacing her last quarter in 28 flat, Shining Jewels captured third place for owner’s, Aimes Racing, her mile in 1:55.0.

 

In the eight race, Gumbolaya (Mike Wilder) raced second to the quarter from post-position four.  In the pocket, Gumbolaya sat behind the leader, Bet The Line (Ridge Warren) until they hit the stretch.  As Bet The Line lost ground, Gumbolaya fought a hard-charging Our All American (Brady Brown) to the wire to finish second, his mile in 1:54.3.

 

Fred And Roz (Joey Putnam) also drew the eight-hole in race four at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday (5/13).  Sitting eighth until past the three-quarters, used the long stretch to make up ground.  With a blistering last quarter in 27.4, Fred And Roz hit the board for show, pacing in 1:52 flat.

 

Over to The Meadows, Legal Liar (Brady Brown) drew the three-hole in race five.  Fourth at the quarter and at the half, Legal Liar sat on the rail as horses fought for position on the outside.  Still fourth around the last turn, Legal Liar found racing room to edge up for third, his mile in 1:54.1 for owner Gary Liles.

 

My Money Honey (Kyle Cummings) competed at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday (5/14) in race seven, the Open I-II Handicap.  Leaving from the rail, My Money Honey let Stop Action (Kevin Cummings) set the pace.  Nose to helmet, My Money Honey followed the leader around the track.  As the wire drew near, My Money Honey held on for second, pacing in 1:55.2.

 

At Tioga Downs, Itsonlymoneyhoney (Michael Merton) competed from post-position two in race three, the Open I Trot.  Third to the half, Itsonlymoneyhoney found himself parked fifth as they raced past the three-quarter pole.  As they raced for the finish line, Itsonlymoneyhoney trotted up to finish third, his mile in 1:56.2.

 

On Sunday (5/15) at Harrah’s Philadelphia, Imoutthedoor (Anthony Morgan) left from the four-hole in race five.  Pushing the gate out of the way, Imoutthedoor cut the mile in 26.3, 55.4 and 1:23.3.  Up by a head at the top of the stretch, Imoutthedoor shut the door on the competition, winning by over two lengths in 1:52 flat.

 

A little closer to home, Brooklyn Moonshine (Luke Plano) had the five-hole in the opener at Running Aces.  Sitting second behind Sweet Young Thing (Lemoyne Svendsen), Brooklyn Moonshine held position as they reached the stretch drive.  With a last quarter in 29.3, Brooklyn Moonshine grabbed third place, mile in 1:56.2, with Supreme Dumpling (Brady Jenson) behind in fourth, 1:56.4.

 

In race three, Anotherblazinwoman (Nick Roland) was parked second from the five-hole as they raced to the quarter-pole.  Finding the rail, Anotherblazinwoman sat behind Antetokounmpo (Rick Magee) as they raced around the track.  With the finish line in sight, Anotherblazinwoman paced a hot last quarter in 28.4.  With a head in front in the photo finish, Anotherblazinwoman returned victorious to the winner’s circle for owners Alan and Cheryl Sandbulte.

 

RD Skippy (Brady Jenson) had the rail in race seven.  Second at the quarter, RD Skippy took over the lead as they reached the half.  Still leading at the top of the stretch, RD Skippy fought to the line, hitting the board for third in 1:56.1.
