Marc In The Box (Allan Davis) drew the three-hole in the fourth race at Harrington Raceway on Wednesday (4/27). Sprinting from the gait, Marc In The Box set the pace, fractions in 28.0. 57.1 and 1:26.2. Turning for home, Marc In The Box gamely held on to hit the board for place, his mile in 1:56 flat.
Over at Yonkers Raceway, DP Rocket (Matt Kakaley) also drew the three-hole, competing in race five. Fifth at the quarter, DP Rocket pulled to the outside, finding himself parked fourth until the three-quarter-pole. As they raced around the last turn, DP Rocket blasted for the wire, finishing second in 1:56.3.
Friday (4/29) at Cal Expo, Frisky Pedro (Luke Plano) drew post-position five in race six. Pushing the gate out of the way, Frisky Pedro quickly took the lead as they reached the quarter-pole. Letting Bobs Time (James Lackey) take over, Frisky Pedro sat in the pocket until the stretch. Charging for the finish line in 27.3, it was all Frisky Pedro for the win, his mile in 1:55.2.
In race three at The Meadows, Legal Liar (Ridge Warren) got away third from the six-hole. Sitting third until the lane, Legal Liar managed to capture the win by a neck, mile in 1:56.2 for owner Gary Liles.
Imoutthedoor (Tim Tetrick) had the seven-hole in race eight at Harrah’s Philadelphia. With a charge to the front, Imoutthedoor captured the lead in 27.4. Letting Meet The Creeper (Todd McCarthy) take command, Imoutthedoor settled nicely in for the pocket trip. Waiting until the lane, Imoutthedoor battled to the wire, taking the win in a new lifetime mark or 1:51.1.
At Buffalo Raceway on Saturday (4/30), CR Blazin Beauty (Kyle Cummings) drew the three-hole in race nine, the Open. Trotting out to take second behind the leader, CR Blazing Beauty was on the rail as the competition stacked up on the outside. Shuffled back to fifth as she reached the stretch, CR Blazin Beauty found room to grab third, trotting in 1:58.2.
On Sunday (5/1) Brooklyn Wind UP (Cordarius Stewart) left from the five-hole in the opener. Fifth by seven lengths at the half, Brooklyn Wind Up moved up to fourth as they rounded the last turn. With a last quarter in 27.4, Brooklyn Wind Up hit the board for third, pacing in 1:54.1.
